A volte desideriamo inserire dei link a URL in una presentazione Powerpoint. URL è l’acronimo di Universal Resource Locator ed è un termine di internet. Generalmente si riferisce all’ indirizzo di un sito internet, come per esempio http://www.slidecoaching.com. Se costruite una presentazione con PowerPoint, il link all’URL verrà sottolineato, il colore generalmente cambierà a seconda del tema che avete attivato (proprio come succede anche in Microsoft Word) e sarà attivo quando visualizzate la presentazione. Un link che è riconosciuto come URL da PowerPoint sarà riconosciuto come tale anche se caricate la vostra presentazione su Slideshare, un sito molto conosciuto per la condivisione di presentaizoni.
Il testo del link non deve essere esattamente il testo dell’URL, può essere qualsiasi cosa, anche più parole, e quindi non deve per forza contenere il prefisso http, che magari non piace esteticamente. Se il link è attivo e funzionante in PowerPoint, quindi sottolineato, perderà la sottolineatura quando caricato su Slideshare, ma funzionerà. Spostate il mouse sopra il testo e vedrete apparire una manina, che indica un link attivo.
Come fare?
Per inserire un link dietro a qualsiasi oggetto o pezzo di testo su PowerPoint basta selezionare col mouse il testo o l’oggetto da collegare, e poi utilizzare la funzione Inserisci / Collegamento ipertestuale. Apparirà una finestra dove nella parte alta viene scritto il testo da visualizzare (quello che avete selezionato) mentre nella parte bassa di fianco alla scritta “Indirizzo” potrete inserire l’URL giusto della pagina internet, compreso di prefisso http://
Ecco tre slide semplicissime di esempio caricata su Slideshare, dove si possono vedere testi e oggetti collegati a siti internet. Anche le icone dei social network sulla terza slide (Twitter e Facebook) contengono link ai relativi account, una bella idea da utilizzare nella prima o nell’ultima slide di una presentazione.

Wan, it takes a little time for the links to be active. What is the URL of the presentation you uploaded?
I also just noticed that the URL does not lose the underlining from PowerPoint/Acrobat, which is a good thing as it makes links more obvious to visitors.
December 2011 update: there are occasional problems with URL links in Slideshare due to their transition to HTLM5. One of my latest test presentations does not work like the you see above. Hopefully the folks at Slideshare will fix this soon.
Yea my text links work but when I link to a picture it doesn’t work! Very Frustrating.
Jeff, I have been in contact with Slideshare on this, and they are aware of the problem. They are migrating to HTML5 and this is an open problem.
Older presentations seem fine but the new ones I uploaded have issues on URL links behind pictures. Hopefully it will be solved soon. I share your frustration!
I have the same problem with the pictures, i uploaded 50 slides to my slideshare, then only to realise that the picture links werent working :/ i hope it gets fixed!
