Not all PowerPoint templates are created equal

In a previous post, I wrote about a group of SmartArt graphic elements that can be downloaded free of charge from the Microsoft site for users of Office 2007.

On the Office Online site there are also new templates and among these I suggest you take a look at a group of them designed by Julie Terberg, a PowerPoint expert. The examples are grouped into eight categories and include over 150 examples of special effects on graphics, text effects, photo effects, backgrounds, SmartArt and animations. Each example has an explanation of how the effects were created.

The template called “Animated hierarchy and process graphics with SmartArt” picks up where my previous post left off and shows other ways of building org charts, with a light animation that I like. You can see slide 25 below.
